My father 97 admitted to A and E Sunday at 1.30am. Today is Tuesday 13.39 and he is still in the same seat. He has not been given his meds yesterday which include Warfarin. What a disgrace. I will complain in the highest terms as far up as I can. Are you waiting for him to die there? Seems like it.

I have recently returned home after having my precious baby. Glan Clwyd throughout my entire pregnancy have been amazing and I couldn’t rate this hospital high enough!! From growth scans to procedures to induction. Then delivering my baby! Wow thank you Karen and Lowry to helping me understand how to breastfeed. And all those in between that kept the maternity ward clean, kept us fed. You are all incredible. Thank you so so much!!!

A&E was very busy and staff were doing their best to provide timely care and treatment for my mum. We were eventually moved to Ward 8 were the level of support was excellent. Staff were kind, respectful and patient. They could not have provided better treatment for my mum (or us family) and it gives me some comfort when I look back on mum's last week's of her life under Ward 8 and the palliative care team just how absolutely brilliant the doctors, nurses and health care support workers were. Nothing was too much trouble and I am very grateful of the outstanding treatment, care and support that was delivered. The service provided was just brilliant and for that I will always be extremely grateful.

I was unfortunately admitted to glan clwyd under an out of hours doctors appointment, from the moment I arrived all I have said is how lovely, kind, caring and considerate each and every member of staff has been. From the on duty out of hours GP who carefully listening and arranged the next captures of action needed. To the lady who guided us to the ward. I was admitted to 19A, Deborah (night team) and Tracy (day team) you are an absolute credit, you have treated me so kindly and patiently and I observed how you nursed every other person on the ward. I have been genuinely been blown away, and heart warmed by your professionalism, proper nurses! Caring for your patients! Heads and shoulders above Wrexham and Chester!

my mother is at the moment in a&e taken there last night from her care home in Prestatyn . I live over 200 miles away and cannot get to visit so I have been ringing to get information from 8am to 2.30 pm on the hour every hour and no one either answers the phone or I get cut off. my mother Is 92 yrs old and neither myself or the care home ,who have also been ringing know anything, I assume if she passes away someone will ring me , surely someone could be allocated to answer the phone in these departments not all family live within a cars distance to this hospital it takes 2 buses 2 trains and another bus just to get to Prestatyn and then another bus to get to the hospital for me so phone information for me is vital

My wife entered the hospital for a Brain Scan and was very apprehensive. We got there early because of parking and got parked easily. We entered and was told were to sit. She firstly had her weight and water test by a pleasant nurse. Then the Consultant asked her in, to which I was asked to come with her. The Consultant then asked my wife many questions that were all relevant to what was the reason she had come for. He was very good at making sure my wife understood everything he was saying. When he had finished he sent my wife for a E.C.G. and then an Vascular Laboratory Test. The staff of both these test's were EXCELLENT and totally respondent to any Questions asked. All the Staff we had seen was Excellent and Highly Recommended. But there is always a But. We had to go from one area to another and since we were last in this Hospital things have Changed. We had been told were to go but to get there was appalling due to lack of understandable Signage. There were groups of us asking each other were to go and even even nurses and staff had to go and find out for us were to go. This is something that desperately needs looking at. ESPECIALLY FOR PATIENTS AND VISITORS. Graham Copeland

My daughter was admitted to Celyn ward to be induced. She was given incorrect information by several members of staff. She felt no one was interested in her and did not care about her . They showed little interest and no compassion. She was offered nothing to eat all day and descridd the staff as lazy and disinterested. It’s difficult enough having to be induced due to complications but to be treated like she was is inexcusable. Reading the general hospital reviews it’s clear that this lack of pride, care and compassion is severely lacking across the hospital.

I can't thank Dr Dishad Choudhury and the bank staff enough for the care and treatment that I received on Sunday 07/10/18.. I would say that it was better than being a private patient.. If I had to have this procedure again, then I would not think twice about returning to Glan Cwyd Hospital.. My partner has also had his cancer treatment at Glan Clwyd and the staff were brilliant. That was 10 years ago and I can honestly say that the staff at this hospital go out of their way to help and this has not changed in over 10 years since we were last here. A big thank you to everyone who works at this hospital.
